The City of Hidalgo and its Police Department proudly announce the inauguration of the Hidalgo Police Department Law Enforcement Academy (HPDLEA). This event marks the establishment of the Police Department’s Law Enforcement Academy, enhancing resources and competitiveness for aspiring law enforcement professionals in our region.
Full-time Academy Starts July 1, 2024.
Daytime Classes 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday
Nighttime Class: 6:00 pm -10:00 PM Monday through Friday

$2,100 Tuition
All Affordable Police Academy includes; a Cadet Uniform (Polo Shirts),
